CAMP ALL SAINTS- Sandi is the BEST!!!

Camp All Saints is located in Pottsboro, TX on Lake Texoma. I became familiar with this educational site when my husband took a job as a part of their J.O.L.T. (Journey On Lake Texoma) staff. Over time, I have come to know Sandi (Operations Director) well; as she gracefully allows me access to the property each time I ask for research and school projects.

This is Sandi. And as the title indicates, she is the BEST!!!

Over the years, Sandi has granted me access for research on allelopathy of Juniperus virginiana, Collinsia violacea specimen collection and now Monarda exploration. Although I am sure that there is Monarda somewhere on site, the only population I was able to find was in the ditch outside the back entrance.

This trail leads to an open field that I thought for sure would have some Monarda growing. It did not. I have however been able to make some amazing observations at this location.

The Monarda I did find in the ditch outside the entrance was a small population and not big enough to collect any specimens. But, its always fun exploring!
